![]() ![]() Anyways, I hope this gets looked into, and possibly fixed soon. As when this isn't happening, I perform perfect 3 rated techniques, ect. I've tried just about all combinations of drag and reel speed, I don't think it's my technique at this point. At least with lures I get to play with the buttons a little instead of spending hours watching the bobber float by being nibbled on, without getting a proper bite. Then thinking the bass/pike have all been caught switching to catfish is a bad idea, as described above. I don't know, it's annoying because half the time I'm hooking fish left and right, then others where i spend 2-3 hours not getting a single hit (before becoming bored and quitting out), unless I somehow managed to make the lure listen and get a lucky fish I didn't even know was on the line until it was 10 ft from the shore and I could see the fish on the line (no tension displayed whatsoever, as if the tension meter was lagging). Apparently the drift combined with the "lag/bug" being described, was too much for the catfish. I've also had it get like 1-2 quick nibbles then instantly spam it was pulled to far, like 20 or 30 times in rapid succession I did not reel in, or pull the line at all. ![]() I've had them nibble for like 5 minutes, yet never take a bite, eventually timing out with a too far message (or no message at all, yet again. I'd also like to throw out there, that it seems when this "bug/lag" happens, Catfish go into an infinite nibble mode of sorts, usually with 0 popups on strikes missed, ect. It lasts for random amounts of time, sometimes a couple of hours, or maybe only 20 minutes. Also when this happens no strike message popups appear. ![]() I've had a fish on the line watching it go from the left most reeds to center river, and did a full strike 3 times, and even reversed the pull on the last strike, for a total of 4 unsuccessful strikes, while the lure was seemingly taken. Pressing on, hoping it sorts itself, an hour+ later I have 0 bites what so ever. +1, when this starts happening I also lose all control over my lure, trying to perform a simple stop & go/twitch becomes impossible with the lure hitting the bottom then coming up out of the water with 1 tap on 2 reel speed (at times this seems like a fish has the lure, but striking does nothing, just further sending the lure out of control). ![]()
